For new members, here is the link to the new RPG message board that we'll be migrating to soon and continuing the Alloyon game:
Beyond the Beast Wars
If anyone has any trouble with it, please let me know.
Now, on to the real purpose of this notice. I will be making new revisions to BtBW (Beyond the Beast Wars) board's main page either during this week or this weekend depending on how much spare time I have. Just so everyone is aware, the RPG section of the forums will be catagorized with separate forums; one for the Maximals, one for the Predacons, one for the rest of the planet and probably one for the Survivors. They will all be displayed on the main page. This is basically replacing the Season One forum, so there will be no more seasons. From here on out, we'll be RPing by plots instead of days and nights. Within the primary forums will be their respective topics of things going on within that specific forum. For example, in the Maximals forum, all of the Maximal RPing located in the base or on the island that the base is located will be done in this forum only. All of the Predacon RPing, like the base and exploration of the peninsula they're on, will be done in this forum only. For battling on neither Maximal or Predacon turf, and exploring the rest of the planet, there will be topics for those under a "neutral territory" forum. Also, if you have a specific plot that you want to RP with specific characters (yours and with others) that doesn't need to include the whole game, you may start your own topic under the suitable forum of location.
If any of this sounds confusing, it will all make sense when you see the changes on the new board. And if it's still confusing to anyone, then just ask for further clarification.
I would also like to propose another idea that might help players follow where characters are going when they start jumping around on the forums and threads. Some of you have actually already done this in previous posts in the game. If your character will be leaving a thread to join another thread in the same forum, or a thread in a different forum, then at the end of your post, please make a note where your character is going (to what thread in what forum). Then when you post in the forum or thread that your character is going to, make a note in the beginning of your post where said character is coming from (from what thread in what forum). Does that make sense? I think it would really help other players know where the rest of the characters are, especially if they're interacting with them. It will also help when people are looking backwards through the posts to re-read or find something they're looking for. For me, there's just waaay too much to search in now with pages and threads and topics scattered all in one forum.
Welp, I think that's it for now. Questions? XD
EDIT:
I think the BtBW board just upgraded to Yuku, so don't panic if it looks different than you remember. o_O Logging in might be different. And if you don't want to see your Yuku ezBoard account open above the message board, just hit the Navigation button and it will hide your account. And if no one has any idea what I'm talking about, then perhaps only the Admins have to suffer from this fate.
