i was JUST on my way to start this topic. but you beat me to it, NS
merry christmas everyone! we've just had dinner: Turkey, stuffing and spudatoes mmmmmmmmmmm didnt get as many prezzies this year (my mum was spoiled rotten though XD) but i got a nice few. i got a leather-bound (i think its fake, though), gold-guilded complete ultimus Hitchhikker's Guide to the Galaxy. WOO! go douglas adams! also got an electronic notepad WOOHOO! but it wont configure onany of the computers! bah humbug anyways, we're about to have pudding: Chocolate pudding and custard mmmmmmmmm plus, i just had a Malibu & coke........im not drunk, but i think the coconut went a bit to my head XD OOH! i did some BW christmas stuff on DeviantArt if you're interested here's the link: jagna-q7.deviantart.com/ i'll post on the RPG dy after tomorrow. i only took a few mins while pudding is prepared for this. and im going to my aunts for boxing day. so its been a nice relaxing xmas with just me and my family. XD I had started a thread for this topic on the new board thinking people might use it more. Hah! Silly me.
 I hope everyone had a good holiday! Mine was fun although I didn't get to do everything I wanted to do but that that's typical because for some reason no one wants to come over until it's dinner time and not earlier so we can actually play card games and board games together!  Oh well. I guess it'll never be like the old days ever again. *sniffle*For dinner I managed to talk my mom into making home made ravioli (a recipe from my great grandmom who, yes, was Italian) and home made meat balls and sauce. Ooooo, it was delicious! For dessert she made a chocolate and peanut butter pie from an Emerill recipe so you know that pie was "BAM!" Afterward we opened presents and stocking stuffers. I surprisingly didn't get anything TFs related but I got a Wii (only because it was my younger sister's boyfriend's and she got him a PS3 so he didn't want his Wii anymore) along with the new Crash of the Titans game for it (I've been collecting all the Crash Bandicoot games since the beginning) and it's a blast. That game system is really fun. My older sister and her boyfriend got me Family Guy Uno cards. I was surprised. And two wildlife t-shirts with tigers and lions. Also, it turns out that on Christmas Eve my older sister and her boyfriend were finally engaged! Yay! I really hope it works out for them. Then again, my brother's been engaged for about four or five years now. When's the wedding?! In any case, that's the crazy stuff this holiday besides the puppy we got which I talked about in my post on the new board. Okay, I think that's it. I won't be seeing my brother until this Saturday so who knows what he and his fiancé have in store.  Quote: Awesome, Jag! I saw the movie a while ago and it was okay. I'm so pathetic! I don't know why I bother. But that's interesting that your mom let's you have portable/handheld game systems. I don't quite understand that. It has been a good xmas for moi. Plenty of good gifts.
Sony DVD Player, 4 gig Kingston USB Key, NHL 08 for PS2, Adidas hoody, Footlocker burgendy t-shirt, socks, $300 in cash, $25 in cash, $65 future shop gift card (For Guitar Hero 3 later on), 200 blank dvd+r's, Bell super mini digital camera (probably about 1.3 to 2 megapixel, takes wicked pics good for if you get in a collision and need to take pics), Benchmark package opening tool (good for them super tight sealed things like headphones and computer parts), Garrity pen LED flashlight. So all in all it was pretty good. Although my neck and my head have been giving me problems lately. I've been sleeping a lot, havin woosy stomach and loss of balance. Have to see the doc about that. Being in a small town the doc's decided to take Dec 24th till Jan 2nd off like I did for vacation -_-. |
