Noc maximizes in a similar motion as Airazor did and is about her height. In fact, those who knew Airazor may be reminded of her when they see Nocturnal. However, her wings on her back are capable of flapping in this mode or locking in a straight, outward position like the wings of a jet and propelling her with her twin boosters on the bottom of her feet. This is meant for swift dive-bombs, dodging and escapes. Her optics are a dark turquoise with lighter turquoise pupils. Her entire body is mostly dark brown with black and gold accents.
Personality:
Nocturnal is quiet. Very quiet. She isnt shy or antisocial, she just doesnt talk much. Shed rather listen or eavesdrop instead of shooting off her mouth. Often she keeps her emotions and opinions to herself but that doesnt mean she isnt compassionate or doesnt want to help. Shes loyal, although with her silence and preferred solitude it sometimes leaves others suspicious. Nocturnal is more tom-boyish so she doesnt mind dirty work, but she often takes refuge in the sky where she finds endless peace and relaxation.
Although owls are typically hunters of the night, shes capable of being able to function well on a few days and nights without rest, which sometimes leads her to disappear for a couple days without checking in. She grew accustomed to this light sleep quickly when she was stranded on Alloyon and took notice of its insane and monster-like inhabitants.
The female owl is typically an easy-going bot. She has a high sense of tolerance and patience, which developed with her somewhat older age, as well as a sense of humor but she isnt normally the one cracking the jokes.
History:
Nocturnal spent a lot of her life on her own while on Cybertron and other minor explorations, snooping around, spying and gathering information. She hadnt met most, if any, of the legends and heroes or bad guys from Cybertrons stories but knew of some of them. History wasnt her strong point. However, she loved exploration and learning about other planets cultures and inhabitants, Earth being one of her short stops. That is, she loved it until she stumbled across Alloyon.
Enclosed in a stasis pod on a ship bound for the doomed planet, she was deployed before the ship crashed. Her pod didnt have a smooth landing but it wasnt damaged enough to disable her or malfunction. Already equipped with her beast mode that was acquired from a previous mission, she immediately took flight in search of comrades and other life signs. It didnt take her long to know that she had to avoid the creatures below, and even some in the air, so she often hid among thick trees in forests for cover and shelter.
Weeks had past before she finally gave up on a search and rescue for her ship, assuming it had ever fallen, and then bumped into the survival group. It was a relief to know that she wasnt alone on the strange world but she sometimes felt like an out cast from rest of the group. Granted her silence didnt help but she still obeyed orders when they were given and gave some comfort to those who needed it. Over the time spent with them day in and day out, they slowly began to grow into something more than just a merely diverse group to her. She cared about them and felt like she had to protect them if they were ever in trouble. They were her friends now.
Abilities:
Night vision is standard with her because of her beast mode, for both beast and robot modes. Superior zooming and magnification is also installed in her optic sensors.
Her flight speed is fast at maximum when she uses her boosters but only for short bursts like sharp turns, tight angles and dodging. Flight is also always in stealth, especially when in beast mode.
In beast mode, she can turn her head 270º, and her audio sensors receive in stereo sound giving her superior hearing and the ability to depict the direction of vertical and horizontal sounds. Its nearly impossible for anyone to sneak up on her.

For beast mode, it can tear through tough metal on Transmetals and Standards. And it can easily take off a few fingers.
Talons:
For both beast (on feet) and robot modes (both feet and hands), they are extremely sharp and capable of tearing through armor quite easily. They also grip tightly and allow her to climb trees or rock in robot mode if flight is disabled or damaged.
Crossbow:
For robot mode, her crossbow is handheld and automatic. Instead of firing arrows, it fires multiple rapid shots of plasma and can be adjusted for firing small missiles for long-range combat.
Weaknesses:
In her owl mode, her eyes cant move like humans and other animals or Transformers with different beast modes, so she has to actually turn her head to look at things. This limits her reaction and realization on anything thats happening that she isnt aware of. It also decreases her peripheral vision.
Nocturnal isnt that quick on the ground, whether in beast more or robot mode. Shed prefer the air but if flight is disabled, she isnt exactly the quickest runner or a fan of marathons.

I don't think there will be much battling between the two factions yet. Not that there's really anything to fight over right now, but it would be fun to finally have an all-out battle at some point.
